One Year in Spain: Foundations, Fragrance & Forward Motion

One Year in Spain: Foundations, Fragrance & Forward Motion

It’s been a whole year since we arrived in Spain—a year that, at times, felt more like ten. When we first touched down on the Costa del Sol, we carried big dreams and even bigger hopes. We envisioned a space that blended wellness, community, and purpose. A year later, I’m so happy to say: it’s finally starting to happen.

It hasn’t been a fast process. Spain moves to its own rhythm, and adjusting to that has been one of the biggest lessons. But slowly—bit by bit—we’ve begun laying down roots. And what once felt like abstract intention now feels like tangible momentum.

After months of groundwork, the town hall is currently helping us find a suitable location from which we can operate our mental health and well-being charity. This is a huge step forward. The vision for the charity is to offer not just traditional mental health support, but a broader approach to emotional care—one that integrates mindfulness, creative expression, and holistic healing.

As we establish our physical base, we’re also planning for this space to grow into something inclusive—a wellness-led hub that expands into other areas of need, including support for the LGBTQ+ community, carers, and anyone feeling unseen or overwhelmed. It’s about connection. About creating a safe, heart-led space where people can be fully themselves, without judgment.

With my residency now confirmed, we’re officially able to move forward with formal applications, local partnerships, and legal steps. This has opened the door for collaborations, community involvement, and the first wave of pop-up events. We’ve already started conversations with local venues and are being welcomed into wellness spaces across the region.

While we build the charity from the ground up, another beautiful part of this journey has quietly grown wings: T.H.E [SOUL]DIER Perfumes.

What began as a hand-blended, chakra-inspired scent collection has now evolved into a meaningful part of our mission—and it’s being noticed far beyond Spain.

Earlier this year, one of our proudest milestones came when a yoga school in Bulgaria trialled the SoulDier perfumes as part of their spiritual and movement-based sessions. After several months of use, the feedback was not only positive—it led to repeat orders and restocks. It confirmed what we’ve always known: these scents aren’t just perfumes, they’re energetic tools for transformation.

We’ve also received consistent orders from customers in the UK, and the energy around the brand continues to grow here in Spain as well. As part of the next step, we’re rebranding the collection—new label designs are on the way, with visuals that better reflect the soul, intention, and power behind each scent.

Every SoulDier perfume is made from natural ingredients and is infused with affirmations, energy intention, and chakra-aligned frequencies. These are wearable wellness rituals—designed not just to make you smell amazing, but to support how you feel and move through the world.

The collection is built around our guiding mantra:

Affirm your identity. Build your personality. Create your unique energy.

Easy as ABC.

As we look ahead, we’re excited about the possibilities. The foundation is being laid for something truly heart-led and expansive. Whether through pop-up collaborations, our growing scent movement, or the eventual charity centre itself, The Happiness Space is no longer a dream on the horizon. It’s becoming a reality—right here, rooted in Spain.

If you’re interested in supporting, collaborating, or simply staying connected, I’d love to hear from you.
